Cassel Shark 2- Multi-frequency BD Metal detector
Metalized films are being used increasingly to preserve the
freshness and to extend the shelf life of food products, but they reduce the
sensitivity with which metal detectors can identify unwanted particles.
Cassel have overcome the problem, restoring the high
sensitivities demanded by the food industry, by tuning the frequency of detection
to match the thickness and type of foil being used.
The Cassel BD Head employs variable frequency 4-quadrant
technology so that when the detector senses a metalized film it automatically
selects the best frequency to deal with it.
Variable frequency detection is further simplified by the
unit’s unique display which allows the operator to manually adjust the limits
beyond which the unit, once self-tuned, rejects product.
